APE Grupo bets on its large format tiles

APE Grupo is doubling down on its large format tiles with its brand XLINING with a view to maintaining its growth in 2023. The group is using the Cevisama trade fair as an opportunity to present. This is a wide range of own-design collections inspired by marble, wood, stone and metal, alongside its well-established APE and Carmen brands.

XLINING was created in 2020, and two years later. APE Grupo has tripled sales of this product type. In fact, is now present in 35 countries, out of a total of 125 in which the Castellón-based company has sales relations. Germany, France, Spain, Algeria and Morocco are currently the main destinations for the large format tile. This year the brand expects to strengthen sales in the Far East and Middle East.

In fact, XLINING has a preferential space at APE Grupo’s stand to present collections such as the stunning Atelier decorative tiles. The Gold Hard, Medicea, Invisible Grey and Odyssey porcelain marble ranges and Odyssey, a collection inspired by metal, among others.

The tile firm’s large format porcelain (160×320, 120×280 and 120×260) is an innovative 6 mm thick product made from natural raw materials, offering ideal lightness for better transport, handling and installation. All this without sacrificing the strength of the material.

Also, large-format ceramics can be used for all kinds of applications, from kitchen and bathroom furniture elements to facade cladding. For the latter, it’s ideal for its size, durability and for achieving energy savings.

Cevisama will see more new additions from APE Grupo in its APE and Carmen brands. In the first, collections such as Alexandria, Augustus, Britannic, Hoss, Medicea, Mare di Sabbia, Raw, Yoho y Zuhause stand out. As for Carmen, the successful decoration-focused brand, the biggest launches are Manacor, Toscana, Stardust, Mambo and its entire range of chevrons.

New author collection

The Castellón-based company is also bringing its array of signature collections to Feria Valencia. Out of these, the Esencia Material range is particularly noteworthy, a series designed by renowned interior designer Erico Navazo exclusively for APE Grupo. Throughout his meteoric career he has garnered major awards, such as the AD Interior Designer of the Year Award 2019; National Interior Designer in 2022 by the magazine Interiores 2022; and the AD100 list, which features the 100 most influential architects and interior designers in Europe.

In addition, his teachers include some of the leading interior designers in Spain, like Pascua Ortega. The influence of these masters is evident in Navazo’s work, which is marked by a respect for the past with historical pieces that embody craftsmanship and honesty. His unique flair for combining antiques with modern pieces and materials makes it possible to create contemporary and timeless settings at the same time.

In this way, and in line with the company’s creative concept The Perfect Mix, XLINING, APE and Carmen integrate seamlessly with each other, achieving a perfect harmony that makes it possible to combine from the smallest to the largest pieces, reinforcing its commitment to design innovation, quality and service.

Additionally, the APE Grupo stand will also feature the TileDiversity immersive experience, a space in the tile firm’s new showroom in Castellón that will be replicated at Feria Valencia, where visitors will get an enthralling taste of the company’s philosophy combining design and technology.
